Work With Me

What We Offer

Here at IOH, you will find support for homeschooling children with learning differences. Lesson ideas and activities, curricula and product reviews, teaching tips and resource lists, parenting encouragement, and insightful interviews from professionals and fellow parents alike.

Blog posts focused on a variety of topics such as living with labels, obtaining educational evaluations, working with a treatment team or therapy crew, learning how to put on your advocate hat as a parent, recruiting support, teaching your child how to self-advocate, emotional regulation training, community service and outreach, non-traditional homeschool methods (YouTube Schooling and Movie Schooling), and raising kids of character to name a few.

Have a passion for helping others? So do we! Check out IOH’s The Salt & Light SERVE Spotlight. In this series, we highlight the service efforts of some amazing non-profit organizations, community outreach programs, individuals, and small businesses both local to the DFW area and from across the globe. Each month we feature a different nominee. Our hope is to bring awareness to the good works of these good people and encourage support.
