Introducing the It’s Only Homeschooling Podcast
Hello IOH Friends,
I am excited to announce the premier of the It’s Only Homeschooling Podcast!
Podcast Topics
Topics will include Advocacy, Learning Differences, Mental Health, Outreach, Parenting, Teaching Tools, and so much more.
While not the only topic we will cover, I am particularly proud to discuss a topic with you that is very near and dear to my heart, community outreach.
In Episode 3, we will share our experiences with one of the many organizations featured in our “Salt & Light Spotlight” blog series. Monthly blog posts on the first Friday of every month where we feature a different community service outreach organization, highlight their efforts and hope to encourage support. In Episode 3, we will discuss our family’s experience serving with a local organization caring for homeless hearts in the DFW area for over twenty years, Phillip’s Wish. Listen as we talk with the founder of Phillip’s Wish, Ms. Cyndi Bunch, and learn of her servant’s heart journey.
Share in our teachable moments as my son, IOH Kid J, joins the podcast to share his thoughts and feelings on serving in the community. Learn lessons with us that go far beyond any classroom.
When and Where to Listen
Beginning in October 2022, new episodes will air on every month’s second and fourth Wednesdays. You can listen here on my website, on YouTube, or wherever you listen to your favorite podcasts.
